Introduction

The goal of this newspaper is to evaluate a complex negotiation between Pat Olafson (Viking Investments) and Sandy Real wood (WoodCrafters), in the perspective of Sandy. Specifically, this paper is drafted from the point of view of Sandy's legal counsel. It can be intended to give Sandy with support and guidance for his negotiations with Pat. This negotiation holds critical relevance for Sandy's future, since business owner, a home-owner, and an employer. As Terry Olafson's organization seems to be booming, Sandy detects himself for a critical crisis in his specialist career. His business relationship with Pat has become one of monetary dependence. You will find three main financial problems, which Sandy must solve in a timely fashion to avoid having to file for bankruptcy. These three issues will include a renegotiation of lease terms, agreement upon who is responsible for a timber change order, and contract on terms for the payment of $200, 1000 worth of loan basic principle. Sandy's attorney will be dealing with the following key topics: 5. Negotiation Planning

Interest-Based Bargaining

Given the complex and probably contentious character of this settlement, it seems to lend itself well to Interest-Based Bargaining. Given the cruel facts that Sandy is usually faced with relating to his company's financial position, it will be easy that Soft sand and Pat's reservation points lack great overlap or that this arbitration will involve you can forget that a tiny amount of bargaining excessive.. Furthermore, although Sandy can be facing some very contentious problems, there are obvious benefits to maintaining a positive long-term romance with Terry and Viking Investments. Consequently , applying a conventional negotiating design or a distributive negotiating style to this arbitration would likely become an unproductive approach pertaining to Sandy to consider.
